東京　Tokyo

The very first time I visited the Japanese capital Tokyo was more than 11 years ago, in summer 2006 and it was frickin hot and humid. But I already felt in love with that city and I have come many times to catch up with friends and strangers or to just stroll around and explore some new places.

I have taken countless pictures, famous and popular sights or just things which caught my attention and made me curious. Pictures and memories need to be shared, so I thought I will start posting some selected Tokyo shots today. It is quite a mix of different places and situation to try to catch the atmosphere of that great city.

Das allererste Mal war ich in Tokio vor über 11 Jahren, im Sommer 2005 und es war super heiß und schwül. Aber ich hatte mich sofort in diese Stadt verliebt und ich bin viele Male zurückgekommen, um Freunde oder Fremde zu treffen oder um mich einfach durch ihre Straßen treiben zu lassen.

Natürlich habe ich unzählige Fotos gemacht, von berühmten Plätzen aber auch von Orten die mich einfach kurios gemacht haben und meine Aufmerksamkeiten erregten. Fotos udn Erinnerungen sollte man teilen,deshalb gibt es heute eine kleine Auswahl von Bildern dieser Stadt. Es ist ein schöner Mix von verschiedenen Orten und Situationen, die hoffentlich die Atmosphäre in dieser Metropole gut einfangen.

Auch Ende April findet man noch diese spätblühenden Kirschbäume, die einen schönen Kontrast zur Großstadt bilden.

The stimulate all senses we also need some pictures of some nice Japanese treats. Fried and grilled chicken and or course some assorted Sushi. Tokyo you are awesome!

Um alle Sinne anzuregen, brauchen wir auch ein paar Fotos von japanischen Leckereien. Frittiertes und gegrilltes Huhn und eine Auswahl guter Sushi. Tokio du bist umwerfend!
