Macro animal photography, A woodlouse.

A woodlouse is a terrestrial isopod crustacean with a rigid, segmented, long exoskeleton and fourteen jointed limbs. Woodlice mostly feed on dead plant material, and they are usually active at night. (WIKIPEDIA)

Made this shot handheld with a Sony a55 and Tamron 90mm 28 macro lens.
Amazing creatures, looks like they are from another planet :p

Wow. I had no idea that's what potato bugs( that's what we called them) looked like close up. Sooo different on the macro scale. Great shot!
