Yosemite Nationalpark - Glacier Point

in photography •  7 years ago  (edited)

I spent last weekend in Yosemite Nationalpark in California.
These amazing landscapes and the feel and look of the mountains remind me of Austria my home country.
High Sierra and the european Alps have a similar appearence to me.
The hike to Glacier Point is a pretty easy 2000 ft hike which took us aprox 2 hours to get up and one and a half hours to get back down. But I guess you can go faster if you are in good shape ;)
The road is closed between November and April (?) which means that this is really the only way the get up there and get this crazy amazing view over Yosemite Valley the Upper Yosemite Falls and Halfdome. _MG_4627.jpg
