While on vacation we traveled down to the Ocracoke Lighthouse. It took a ferry ride to get here. Which in itself was a cool trip.

In the Outer Banks of North Carolina. It is actually a working lighthouse, so you can get inside.

This is still actually in use. You can't go inside it as a member of the public. And the lighthouses in North Carolina seem to be well taken care of.
