Ferries leave Tanzania on the number of deaths 200
In Tanzania's Lake Victoria, the number of casualties in the ferry crash has crossed two hundred. Meanwhile, mourning families are preparing to bury the dead on Sunday.
The man in the Mwanza province, John Manglow said that the accident took place due to the carrying capacity of hundreds of passengers of MV Nairi Ferry at the capacity of one hundred people. After the accident, the death of 218 people has been confirmed so far. 41 people were rescued alive.
Garhorna further said that the bodies whose bodies could not be identified could only take measures to bury their government.
The country's transport minister Ishaq Kamoly said 172 people were able to identify their families among the dead.
Tanzania President John Maguffuli has already ordered the arrest of the ferrymen involved in ferry operations after the ferry accidents, and four-day state mourning.
