I think the term flat earthers has a different connotation here. It literally refers to people who believe the earth is flat.
Alli does love her bugeye and she dipped those rims herself.

I have watched quite a few videos on that subject, meh I was kind of interested in knowing why those people believe the earth is flat and where better to start looking than the videos "promoting" it. They twist their words, almost had me believing in that stuff 😕. Haha but yeah it's silly stuff

I've heard a lot of good things about Subarus. My parents and some of our extended family are Jeep fans, though. My uncle actually had a logging truck lose control next ot him and ended up rolling his jeep about ten times. The camper they were pulling was twisted into scrap and their Jeep looked like a mangled mess, but he and his wife walked away with a few bruises and scrapes. Guess that's a good sell for Jeeps... lol.

Most of the teaching staff I worked with over the last few years are Subaru fans. They seem to do pretty well in collisions, too. I like the way the Foresters look, but a new vehicle isn't much of an option right now.

Here's a little trivia for you Melinda, or rather your daughter and son in law.

Subaros have a nickname which translates to Broom Man in Cantonese. Broom is pronounced 'so bah', and an informal term for a man is 'lo' in Caontonese.

So Subaro >>>>> so bah lo >>>> broom man ^_^

I think Alli knows every Subie owner from here to Milwaukee! They have a very active Facebook group and meet up often for coffee or dinner and talk cars and swap knowledge and parts and swag. It is a really strong community.

It's funny to ride down the road with her. She can spot another Subie a mile away. Everyone waves whether they know each other or not, but odds are that she knows most of the drivers by name.... And even knows their kids names! They trade parts, and advice, and give each other a hand when a car needs repairs. During the Summer they hold SubieFest and everyone joins up and travels together down the highway to get there. It is quite a parade.
