It's funny to ride down the road with her. She can spot another Subie a mile away. Everyone waves whether they know each other or not, but odds are that she knows most of the drivers by name.... And even knows their kids names! They trade parts, and advice, and give each other a hand when a car needs repairs. During the Summer they hold SubieFest and everyone joins up and travels together down the highway to get there. It is quite a parade.

That's just incredible, I didn't know that Subarus were that unique or rare.

They are not that unique and are not rare. Until they are mofified! I think they are just loved.

Did you ever own one? I guess I'm missing out but they'd have to make a big rugged pickup to get my attention.

I have never had one, but they certainly have become popular in Wisconsin.

lol..that's great! It's pretty darn impressive and a very smart choice for the winters in Wisconsin!
