Return To The Alamo - Pictures and Video From San Antonio πŸ“· [MY VIDEO inside]

Remember the Alamo! We took a number of photos when visiting the Alamo and I thought I would share them with you.

It was a very touching and sobering experience to visit this place and understand what happened here. 180+ men were completely outnumbered, surrounded and knew that no help was coming. Instead of surrender, they decided to fight until help arrived or their enemies overtook them. No quarter was given and they all perished.

What I find even more amazing is that they had a fortitude that is rarely seen among men in our country today. They had respect of God, Country and they valued Liberty.

Cool! I have been to the Alamo once! It is a pretty cool place and that whole area is really nice!

It was so fun to go...wouldn't mind going again at some point. Lots to see.

Awesome pics. Thanks for sharing. I went to the Alamo a few years back on a business trip. Got to spend the day there and enjoyed it very much. Lots of history there. Didn't get a chance to do the river walk though. Did you get to?

The riverwalk is about 2 blocks away. You should have walked on over. Hope you get a chance to go again.

That is an awesome video you did and some fantastic shots! Shared for others to see!

Awesome πŸ‘πŸ»

Great pics there Zach!

Graciously put sir. Most who visit are the "neat old stuff" crowd. Thank you for always being a good steward. Steem On Brother!

I have had the pleasure of going to the Alamo a couple years back, we didn't get through the whole thing, but walking in the hallway reading all the stories, you are right they just don't make men like that anymore!
