Street of sleeping children in sticks
Covered with hungry grime
Broken eyes of pure sadness
And hands begging crumbs of love
Memories of bloody feet
Flags of political fools
Painted of oblivion fall asleep
Are dreams no one wants
His eyes dodge fast
Shame of the rich; Horrors of the poor
They dream awake,
Covered with love in the night.
My children who die sick
Empty stomachs and sadness
The children of the black cities
Scratched by unconsciousness
They are our fears,
Are our laziness,
They want a dream ceiling
They just want food.
They cry to choir in the night,
They cry for your caress,
Ask for a look of love,
Ask for a smile
