Fluorescent crystals Real Chemistry #6

Welcome to my world of chemistry!

In this episode of #RealChem I present you some of my fluorescent crystals.

They are a fluorescent silver complex (yellow crystals) converting to crystals of the pure ligand without silver. I did this by precipitation the silver using an aqueous salt solution. It took a few weeks to transform but they turned from a blockish crystal to a needle.
