Starry skies, the White Mountains of New Hampshire, and a group of people gathered for love. PorcFest is really special. I hope to meet a bunch of you there next year!
For those that don't know about it, the Porcupine Freedom Festival is a week-long camping festival that takes place in late June every year in New Hampshire in the US. It's organized by the Free State Project. About 1000 people come from all over the world to spend time with like-minded people, attend lectures, and party!

This was a long exposure shot. I tried several shutter speeds to get the one I wanted. I ended up using an 8 second exposure to let the most light in possible while still keeping the stars pin-sharp. My other settings were f/5, ISO 800, and focal length of 14mm on a Canon T5i.

We (@lukestokes and I) were there! Luke had been talking about it for a couple years and we finally went this summer. Had a fun time. The drive through Vermont and New Hampshire to get there was so beautiful :)

I have seen pictures and some videos on youtube about Porcfest and think it is a great idea and seems like a lot of fun! I think it would/could be even better though if we could have a Porcfest in every state so more people could go and also hopefully get the idea of self-ownership off to an even faster start.
