Hey everyone, today I’m sharing another I photo that I took last summer in Canada. This is a photo that has more meaning to me than almost every other photo I have ever taken. Took this picture on the edge of a cliff, as I was following I saw the canoe from this angle and asked the person in the canoe to keep it still for this shot. The lake he was on was one of the cleanest lakes my group saw on this trip and the water was so calm. The world was so quiet for those few seconds. I remember just standing there and listening to the peacefulness that surrounded us, every time the sun went down the sky would have a slightly purple and pink tone. I remember looking at this shot and knowing that this was one the best photos I’ve taken yet, everything in that moment was perfect. No distractions, no problems, no worries… everything was perfect and for the first time in my life I was in Zen. In today’s world most people are too attached to the grid. We depend on technology more and more as time goes by and we are too caught up with society’s distractions. We forget to look around and appreciate life for what it is and what it has to offer. If you put yourself in that position, being away from the grid for a period of time, you will then realize that you have found true happiness with life and with yourself.
