Fly Fishing in Remote Jungle of Bolivia

in photography •  7 years ago

One of the most common things I hear when talking to people about fly fishing is, "I thought fly fishing was only for trout?!" Well, that is false! In fact, you can fly fish for any species of fish, all over the world!

This brings me to today's post.... fishing in the jungle.... the deepest remote jungle I've ever seen or experienced. This is a place where monkeys, parrots, caimen, and all sorts of other wild creatures are all around you. The local indian tribe (Tsimane) are the people that live there. They still survive by hunting with bow and arrow and traveling the rivers in their dugout canoes. It's a place that I will always hold close to me.
