This Photo Has Been STOLEN From Me 14+ Times!! (And What I Did to Protect My Work)

Does this service work for writing? Most of the stuff I post online is pretty much free to use with just a link back (creative commons, attribution only). But I am working on a book which includes some free online stories that have a traditional copyright. A service like this would be handy.

I think Pixsy is specifically for photos, but surely there is a writer's equivalent out there. I do know that there are certain steps you can take to keep your book from being lifted like disabling copy/paste on your website.

If I can find some time later, I'll do a little hunting and see if I can find a company like Pixsy that protects copy!

I'll check that out, but there are ways around the copy-paste block - like using a note-taking software. I've done this for research before.

A service like Pixsy would be good to help send out notices. Imagine how long it would take if you did all the takedown notices yourself.

Ah. Good thinking. I don't have to worry too much about my copy in any of my blog posts, really only my photos, so I haven't ever looked deeply into such a thing.
