Buddha warrior is an illustration inspired by two things that I saw yesterday .. a painting and the last zamurai movie.

The sketch lines are always the beginning of each of my works.

The sketches are the first drawings that are made of an idea. They are made in an approximate way, without many details and without following any rule, to represent in a simple way the different initial solutions of the design of an object.

Marking the lines with sharpie is the main definition.

As we can see the hidden lines corresponding to the elevation have been eliminated, thus achieving a much cleaner and clearer plane.

Mixed illustration techniques.

From the union of techniques come the mixed illustration techniques where we can become a little crazy and start combining dry with wet or several dry with wet or damp, such as: colored pencils with markers, watercolors with colored pencils, watercolor with gouache, watercolor with acrylic, acrylic with markers ... To infinity and beyond.

finally we work the shadows and details to achieve a good finish.
