“Bonding” with Grandma

You know my family, now you need to meet my grandma. How do you bond with your grandmas and grandpas? Burnt cookies anyone? My mom and dad are not home for some work and i live with my grandma and this is the first and last word she says all day is 'do u want anything to eat"

My grandma was the strongest woman i have known, she was always energetic no matter what, even though we barely talk because of a language barrier, i understood what she said all the time and motivated me to do good in school and get a good paying career, she was amazing and inspiring, i loved her to death. Until October 19, 2016, she passed away from cancer, she was strong though, for 10 or 12 years i think. But i know she isnt suffering anymore and is in a better place with her mom and dad. So please, cherish your grandparents while they are still around, they're amazing and give good advice.

Beautifullllll!!!!

Grandmothers are indeed a special breed. My Grandmother once wen't on a train trip with me after fracturing her wrist as we arrived at the station. It wasn't until she saw a doctor a couple of days later we discovered the extent of her injury.

And then there's my own Mother - my daughter's Grandmother - who despite living in a different state, regular video calls mean my 2 year old can bond with her and maintain a connection without the expense of physically visiting.

Interesting. Thanks for sharing. Grandparents are key.
