Zach Roberts "Mr Twister"- Storm Chaser, Photographer and Author

I fell in love with the weather as a young boy growing up near Denver Colorado. The dynamic weather along the foothills of the Colorado Rockies provided a launching pad for my future storm chasing adventures. I have photographed and chased tornadoes from Canada to Texas and everywhere in between. From the very first time I photographed a tornado I knew that I would be out roaming the plains every spring. I am blessed with a career as a financial advisor and owning my own business allows me to pursue my passion and leave for a storm at a moments notice. I am also blessed with a very understanding wife (although she is my main chase partner and becoming quite addicted to it herself) and three beautiful children.

I am excited to be a part of a new and different social media platform. The current go to social media sites have become stale and I find myself becoming more frustrated with them by the day.

My first image is one of my prize photos. I am a huge fan of abandoned home steads. Tornado ally is littered with them. My dream shot has always been a tornado behind one of these structures. The stars aligned earlier this month and I was blessed with the scene you see here. This was not a violent tornado and it caused no harm which made it that much better. Bushnell Nebraska June 2017
