This is the entrance of the Deosai Plains, 2nd highest plains of the world. With an astounding average height of more than 4000 meters, this place is magic. When you witness these plains for the first time, the expression "jaw-dropping" really starts to make sense. The greenery here is eye-catching which makes the place look like a giant carpet.
The special thing about this place is the Brown Himalayan Bear, which is an endangered animal of the region. These beautiful creatures are rarely spotted. Unfortunately I also couldn't spot one because of the short stay. But I was lucky enough to see couple of marmots!
The white mountain behind the clouds is Nanga Parbat. It is the 9th highest of the world, 8126 meters high! It is one of the most difficult mountains to climb. It was given the name "The Killer Mountain" due to its significant death rate of climbers.
