Beautiful Cardboard

Cardboard, thick paper, glued together into sandwich like sheets; is everywhere.
It has many uses; most commonly for packaging, shipping and storage.
It can, if the structure is designed carefully, be used for furniture and even temporary structures.
The fibers can be sourced from numerous trees, and plants including hemp.
It can be recycled, and at the end of its usefulness can be biodegraded.

Recently, Nintendo has released a series of designs that even interact with the companies game hardware (Nintendo Switch) in ingenious ways!

Check out the official site: Nintendo Labo
I am not associated with the company but I think it's a fantastic way to introduce people and kids to engineering!
I really would like to get some of these for my son (and myself!)

What do you think of their new idea?

wow very nice photo.... thanks for sharing.....

You're welcome. What do you think of cardboard?

thanks for reply.... cardboard is really great useful for us....

The carton looks very beautiful. You always make a great work. It is a very good idea to use as a plastic replacement. Because the carton is very easy to unravel.

Thanks @rizasukma!
Yes, plastic is a wonderful material too, it's easy to form and is durable, but while it can be recycled, most is unfortunately thrown into landfills or the ocean and it doesn't simple biodegrade like paper.

There is a great reusing/recycling project called Precious Plastic which aims to give the tools, knowledge and support to small businesses and individuals to start recycling plastic by themselves! I should make a post about that, I'm somewhat interested in seeing what kind of interest there would be to start such a recycling business.

Using cardboard from the start, while not suitable for all purposes, can greatly help the environment.

Thanks for the explanation. That is a very good idea. I am waiting for a post about it. 👍
