Little Monsters S2 Episode 1 - Wolf Spider Babies!

Wolf spiders are a rarity among spiders and invertebrates as well, they actually provide some parental care for their offspring!

Since Wolf spiders don't build webs they carry a package of eggs in a ball attached with silk to the spinnarets:

I'm not certain why this mother is carrying spiderlings and an egg sac, perhaps it picked up an extra one. Perhaps they've just hatched and the empty egg sac hasn't been discarded yet.

Once the little ones have hatched, they clamber into the abdomen for a free ride, and protection from predators including other spiders! The mother spider is far far and more mobile than the little ones with their tiny little legs.

She'll go anywhere!

I wonder if she has threatened to turn the spider-bus around of the spiderlings ask one more time: "Are we there yet?"?

A very good time. The spiders jumped with their babies for a free walk. I found them carrying eggs that had not been hatched by then. But you have a very good moment to take a picture. Warm greeting always for you @mweich.

Thanks @rizasukma! I think the eggs take longer to mature than the period of time that they carry the spiderlings on their backs.

worse than 1 spider is this one! Since there are so many spiders for the price of 1

Mini-hugs!

Extraordinary nature, so many strange and fascinating creatures!

Absolutely, it's why I love macrophotography!

But as I remember, I have a picture of such species of spider too

They don't always have babies clinging to them and most don't. The spiders are also a bit hyper-vigilant and run away faster than the normally would too. It took a few weeks to collect these pictures!

a Photography of a very beautiful wolf spider, this spider is a little creepy when we see it, but this beautiful spider is getting rare on this earth .. Ok if there is free time give me some support for me

Thank you, but this siper is far from rare!
