Lunar Eclipse from Osaka

Tonights lunar eclipse was out of this world!
I was able to capture a few images with my camera. Thankfully, though I had to use a 105mm prime lens, as it was the longest lens that would fit the camera. The megapixel count and iso performance did help quite a lot!

Nice shot! I didn't have a chance to see this lunar eclipse. 8)
It's really red!

It really was surprisingly red!

Nearly missed this post. Great that you got a clear night and some good shots.

Thanks, at least it was clear up to totality, didn't see much after that though!

Wow that moon looks amazing. I can also enjoy from the home page. But I do not take pictures because it is too far from my phone. 😊

Yeah, it would be rather difficult to photograph using a phone, you might be able to do it though!

I can’t see anything, cloudy ⛅️

Aww, that's too bad, there might still be some live streams happening.

Wow! 😮

thats an awesome view of the eclipse last night!!

this was all i got from the Singapore skies..

It's a bit difficult balancing the dark parts of the moon with the parts still illuminated by the sun, but it's easy to appreciate it with just the eyes too.
