Leisure evening spent at the Beach

The good news is that Oman has opened up almost everything, except for movie theaters, rest all the places are opened up and the other good part is that they have also stopped publishing the daily Corona numbers which in my view is a madness and scaring the public more. So life in Oman is almost back to normal with Social distancing and the mask wear. Everyone seems to be very happy getting to spend time outdoors.

Though we are still in our summer season and the temperature is around 35 degrees but that does not seem to be bothering anyone. People are more happy to breathe freely.

Yesterday when we left our home for the beach, I found that there was more traffic then usual, as if like the whole city wanted to be outdoors, but yes everyone's destination must have been different because I did not see crowding at any one place so that was a good part.

Me and my hubby have also been enjoying our long drives and since the restaurants are now opened up we also plan to go for a dinner to one of our favorite places sometime next week.

This particular Corniche is very attractive, it's made up very well along the beach side. There is a long walking path and coffee shops, restaurants by the beach side, ample space for children's play and yes they also have open gym concepts developed here for all age groups. So it is a good picnic spot for the complete family.

All along the walking path there are ample of Date trees and other plants. Oman is known for producing best quality dates and exports most of it. In Oman wherever you go, you are greeted with Dates and special Omani black Coffee. The combination is amazing.
Date trees more or less look like Coconut trees, but the difference is Dates grow in the hottest regions where as Coconuts in tropical ones.

Along the way there are many other variety of flowers and plants

Everyone is having a good time with their loved ones. You will see that every group has mindfully stationed themselves at a good distance from each other.

We both also had a wonderful time

I visited this place for the 1st time and really liked it. This beach is very far from my home almost a 45 mins drive, so we do not come to this part of the city often. But now since we have explored it we plan to come here more often. It feels good to be getting out and spending time in nature again.
