Polaroids: Appreciating the Analog Once Again (Original Polaroid Photos)

in photography •  8 years ago  (edited)

I studied photography in the early 1990's, so have always had an appreciation for the non-digital formats. Having learnt to develop black and white film in a dark room, the similarity to watching the Polaroid films develop, instantly in front of my eyes, is an interest I don't think I will ever lose. It's not the cheapest interest, that's for sure, so I do so sparingly, but I still love the old styles and formats. And now that organisations such as Impossible have kept the Polaroid style of camera and film going, even going so far as to update the camera, and even adapt them in ways to the new digital styles, perhaps these old analog styles wont die out after all.

I wanted to share some of the Polaroid photos I have taken over the years.

Really like the one with the dresses. What a neat idea to go old school with a Polaroid!

It's like a blast from the past! There are still many people using the old style Polaroids. You just don't hear much about it anymore.
