San Diego Zoo Tigers

Tigers are by far my favorite animal, I even have a tattoo of one on my ribs so I was very happy to see a few this summer at the San Diego Zoo. Whenever I see a Tiger, I always get emotional. Not just because they are such magnificent creatures, but also because it pains me to see them enclosed and not in their natural habitats. Also, because I know they are endangered and their natural habitats are shrinking due to deforestation, hunting, and other reasons because of human interference with the tigers territory. Thus, it is bittersweet for me to see a tiger at a zoo because I know they are being cared for as best they can but it sucks that they are having great difficulties surviving in the wild making them closer to extinction every day.
