Visit to High Point, NJ

in photography •  6 years ago  (edited)

High Point is (cleverly) a monument at the highest elevation in the state of NJ at 1803 ft (550 m), I drove there with a friend to visit and take a quick hike on one of the many trails. Here are a few shots from that day, it was a bit cloudy so everything seemed drab up in the clouds.

Don't tell anyone, but I stole a couple pine cones off this dude to see if I can plant and grow them :3

BEHOLD THE MIGHTY WANG. It's not quite as big as the Washington Monument, but it's just as phallic.

These shots were looking out the windows at the top of the monument so it's even more foggy.

I highly recommend the trails, though you might want to bring some bug spray, the mosquitoes and ticks this year were particularly nasty.

All images are original unless otherwise stated. My camera of choice is a Nikon D7200.

Thanks, though I feel like my pictures didn't do the scenery justice.
