Welcome in my 5 minutes guide

Today we’ll learn how to master the manual mode of your camera or smartphone.

While reading this tutorial I advise you to take your camera and try by yourself ;)

The five most important settings are :
ISO / Aperture / Shutter Speed / RAW

ISO :

Did that already happened to you to see these kind of things on your pictures ?

Having higher ISO helps you to take pictures with more light in it. But be CAREFUL too much and grain will appear. I advise you to set it to the lowest value and balance it with the shutter speed.

Shutter Speed :

On your camera it’s shown like that : 1/100.In order to get more light in your picture without losing overall quality it’s one of the two best ways. But be CAREFUL if what you are aiming at is moving you’ll have to set it at the fastest setting available and having a higher ISO setting.

Aperture :

On your camera it’s shown like that : F11. In order to get more light in a picture without losing overall quality it’s the 2nd best way. By playing with aperture you can increase or decrease the overall blur quantity in your picture. But when you take a picture of a landscape for example take the highest F setting you can or only the place you’ll focus would be clear and your picture would be failed.

RAW :

RAW is a file extension that gives you the best ways to edit your pics on softwares like photoshop or changing ISO settings later. This file extension like it’s name says it’s a raw file so it’s not processed that gives us the possibility to process it later by ourselves.
