Aurora at the Tip of Borneo, Sabah Borneo

in photography •  7 years ago

Just about yesterday I saw @madiba post The Aurora and I was thinking to myself. I must and I will, one day, witness such a mesmerizing hue of Aurora myself. Today, a dear friend of mine told me Aurora happens few days ago, at the Tip of Borneo (Kudat). Everything seems to be a great coincident and it made me excited to share what I've collected from our local photographer.

Pictures above was taken 22 June 2017, around 9pm. As I was searching around for more information, I came to know that, this is the third time the phenomenon occurred in Sabah, Borneo. First was in 2006 follow by 2015. Below picture, was captured in 2015.
