Some days ago I went to Ioannina at Greece. At Ioannina there is a lake, in this lake there is a little island...
The name of the island is “Kira Frosini’s island”. In the island there are houses, one of these houses was Ali pasha’s house..

The story is very big with a lot of pain..
Frosini was a very beautiful woman. Frosini with the Muchar the son of local lord Ali Pasha were in love..
Muchar was married to another woman, the daughter of Pasha of Berat.
His family and his wife learned it and they killed Frosoni with some other womens.
The womans were drowned in the lake..
From this story the island was called “Kira Frosini’s island”

I loved the photo and never been there. I lived in Greece and went around a lot of it, but as my job was travel writing it was only my base as I mostly travelled abroad. Now far away (outside London) but my daughter and son in law and my grandchildren visit Greece every year for their holidays where they catch up with friends and relatives. As y husband has been so unwell I haven't visited for over a decade, but plan to later this year even if it's only for a few days! Love Greece.
