For this weeks animalphotography contest entry I am entering this miniature dinosaur. Taken on the beach in Cancun, mexico, these guys are pretty bold. They will let you get to within 2 meters of them before they scurry off at high speed (faster than I expected!). These beach bums spend the day sunning on the beach, eating scraps, and doing whatever they do in the bushes to make all that noise.

Lens: 70-200mm @ 85mm

Aperture: f/2.8
ISO: 160
