This spring our daughter noticed that a robin had built a nest under the eaves of our porch. My daughter was able to snap a picture of the eggs just as they were starting to hatch (look closely to see the small cracks in the eggs).
The next evening, I took another picture while momma was gathering food. The baby robins were fully hatched and the nest had been cleaned out of all shell fragments.
I got a picture of the nest that she built under the eaves supported by a gutter downspout.
Finally Momma came back! Time to get away from her nest.
