Capturing Captivating Captive Birds

Two more photos of captive exotic birds, photographed through a wire mesh you can see in this post using a combination of a large aperture and aiming between the wires:

It is, of course, not ideal to have a wire mesh between you and the birds you want to photograph, but, as you can see, it is doable to get decent shots.
