Crispy Casino

This was the view from my father's house a few days ago. The smoke came from a burning casino in Groningen, The Netherlands:

Strangely, I had to laugh out loud. Somehow, I feel it is hilariously funny when a casino burns down, but I don't know why it makes me laugh. Consider this I must.

Anyway, it was also proof that under some circumstances, pecunia really does olet.

Whoa!
laughing?
That's not funny at all
Considering the lost of some dollars.

Anyway you must have your reason to lol.

But i love the photographic sense.
It looks like a smoke from buildings.

Kudos to your dad

Not to worry: No dollars were hurt in the burning of this casino. Only euros 😂😂

Supeerrrr...!!

Congratz, you just have been resteemed by @pixresteemer!
(All right but who is pixresteemer?)

Somehow it is indeed quite funny for a casino to burn out. Especially since the recent turmoil around the sell of Holland Casino, and the personal not wanting the government to sell it. Maybe some planned action?

Could it be ... a conspiracy? Nah, don't think so 8-).

Completely off-topic here: I have been reading some of your comments, and it made me think back to a comment I made four months ago:

"Prices will be set by speculation until the currency is used in the real world, outside the strict "Steemit ecosystem", for Buying Stufftm.

The currency itself should be marketed as well, it has many strengths for practical use, after all. There's push and pull marketing; focussing on just one of those means doing half a job. I would like to see more emphasis on marketing the currency-as-a-currency for third parties.

Imagine (or dream), for example, Ebay facilitating Steem or SBD as a payment method. That would attract more users than a polished Steemit interface, and also set a real value for the currency.

Bitcoin may be well-established, but it is showing its weaknesses in real-world transaction. The time is now for a fast alternative, and other currencies are focussing on that. If we miss this boat, Steem will be an also-ran."

I have put this forward many times, but the idea seems to be that when enough people have Steem, the rest will automatically take care of itself. I have given up on this fight.

I may have missed something, but I dont see any positioning and marketing done. That is why I mentioned that I don't see proposition and commercial product management at STINC. Thinking that all will go by itself, is a dream in a dreamworld cryptospace is in. Only those who understand how business is done, will actually be successful survivors; That is my firm believe at least.

Gives new meaning to the saying 'money going up in smoke'!
