Damselflies: Last Three

in photography •  7 years ago

Three more photos of damselflies, unidentified ones this time.

This first one looks like the love child of two different species to me:

Olympus Stylus 1s, 300mm, ISO200, f8, 1/250s

Probably a female, this one, species unknown:

Olympus XZ-1, 112mm, ISO200, f8, 1/50s

Here's a photo with a visitor. The bug sitting under the damselfly is either very brave or very stupid, or maybe it feeds on damselfly excrement, who knows:

Olympus XZ-1, 112mm, ISO100, f8, 1/125s

The bug somehow reminds me of a Jerry Banfield follower.

Great pictures. I love both damselflies and dragonflies. The camera loves them too. Never seen a dragonfly or a damselfly coming up ugly in a shot. Great pictures again. The one with the extra bug is mere happenstance unlikely to happen again which makes it a very rare shot.

by taking a nice dragonfly picture and funny I like the picture there, cobak for you take a picture of dragonfly that was flying in the meadow so much.pasti very good

Nice photos

Bug on bug one a gem.
