Dinner is Served. Today's Special: Raw Bug

I initially made this photo for composition also, and for the nice background colours, but then I noticed that the featured damselfly was having dinner, which is a rather sloppy and unpleasant affair.

I does show that these fairly small insects can grab rather large preys, and also transport them to their favourite picknick site:

I still like those background colours, but the prey is a bit distracting from the whole.
