Don't worry, it's just a cumulonimbus

in photography •  8 years ago

These clouds can grow up to 15km (10 miles) high, and usually cause localised heavy rain and thunder.

Seen near Enschede, The Netherlands, looking north, a few summers ago. Photo by me. No bombs or conspiracies were used in the creation of this photo.

Impressive!! I never saw one so "perfect" like these one! Thanks :)

You're welcome. It was the first time I saw one as archetypical as this one as well, so I hit the brakes and got out of the car 8-).

Sometimes we must do it, stop the car and photograph!! :)

Excellent work! Congratulations!

Thank you.

it's my pleasure =)

Great capture and glad it WAS just a cloud!!

According to the meteorologist who borrowed my photo, the cloud was about 50 miles away from me!
