I get a lot of windy weather moving target shots @ocrdu but that muddy water floating flower is a bit more unusual. Is that a water lilly?

It is a yellow water-lily aka brandy-bottle (Nuphar lutea), one of only two native species of water lilies in The Netherlands.

I love water lillies @ocrdu but the pink and purple ones are my favourites.

I got some great photographs when I was in Kew Gardens for some with leaves about three feet across! 😱

The first one really stands out!
