Stealing the Show

This was a first for me: a white peacock. The all-white bird was showing off on the grounds of a petting farm.

It was slowly turning around and attracted many a smartphone-toting spectator whom I roughly shouldered aside to take some photos with a proper camera:

The nearby avian competition was not amused at all, and walked off later to sulk and peck at nearby fowl for no good reason.:

Serves it right for being both vain and cantankerous.

Amazingly bright!!

The peacock really stealing the show. Our neighbors have a lot of peacocks.

wow! I've never seen a white peacock before, wonderful!!!

It is, isn't it? Even with one broken tail feather.

Spectacular birds with or without colour.
I have seen a white one but I cannot remember where. It was a long long time ago.

Wow, that's incredible. Deserves some rough shouldering of the peons!

Indeed it did. Disclaimer: No permanent damage was inflicted on bystanders.

Gorgeous white peacock. I’ve seen them a few times in my life, but the standard blue are often found around park and greenspace areas in the South.

Wow! Such majesty. Great shot...

Thank you.

I've never seen a white peacock either @ocrdu. It looks most impressive! Bit harsh on the smart phone photographers though! 😂

That is beautiful! I've never seen a white peacock before. Thank you for sharing.
