The Car You Have Never Seen

in photography •  7 years ago

Well, probably have never seen. I know I hadn't when I came across this yesterday:

Olympus Stylus 1s, 55mm, ISO100, f5.6, 1/100s

I looked it up for you: it's a Midas, a British made kit car originally using Mini running gear, but later using Austin or MG Metro parts. It seems it is still being made.

The car is tiny at 3.45m in length and has a composite body, and one of the engine options is a 1275cc Turbo that puts out 93bhp, which should be plenty enough to have fun with in a car that only weighs 730kg.

Thanks for watching!

It does! Yet two people are supposed to fit in there.

It must be fun to drive! :D

Yes, the old Mini this car is based on was a hoot to drive as well, almost like a kart.
