Wednesday Walk on a Thursday :)

Well as you know if you have followed the Old Guy for any length of time, I am always a day late and a dollar shy... I meant to get these up yesterday but that plan was thwarted by Halloween and such...So here it is Thursday and a fitting day for a Wednesday Walk...sorry @tattoodjay

My project de juor was to bring in the very last dock piece.

I dont know why but I have gone GIF crazy today LOL!

The lake is always flowing, always changing.

Strangely there were all kinds of critters on the steep seawall...

There were a couple of frogs that would cling to the side for a few minutes, then let themselves slide back down into the water, just to repeat the process again later!

I actually rescued an earthworm. It must have come out from all the rains the previous night, and had fallen into the water. It was trying to crawl back up, so I gave him a lift as the waves were about to claim him for the lake!

One of the most interesting and actually quite pretty thingies was this:

You would be hard pressed to find a better looking deadly leech! LOL

It was cool to see him move! He balls up, then stretches out his neck and pulls himself along!

See why you must get all your blocks in. The ice is just brutal on then!

I love my neighbors ______ bush. Fill us in if you know! :)

Sure is a real firecracker in fall!

So this is my lonely boat lift. The guys have been giving me the runaround for 2 weeks now. I need a cane so I can properly abuse them like my friend @meesterboom

I hope your Thursday has been about half as good as mine!!
