Downtown Edmonton

I took some shots of city architecture and want to present you how Downtown looks like.

We had a rain shower yesterday morning and there were clear skies just for the time for the parade.

Soon after the dark clouds came back again and we had a severe thunderstorm in the afternoon.

The weather app on my phone says we can expect the same kind of weather today.

Too bad. But as soon as it gets better I plan for another visit to the center of the city to get more material for the posts.

No matter from which side you're entering the city, you'll always spot this sign first.

The glass towers are popular around here.

I find this masterpiece in the shop window.

Did you see the man reading?

The old, the new, and one from the other side of the street.

The crowd is waiting.

Thanks for this. Will need to visit.

Anywhere in Canada is beautiful, great cities, great country, great people. @oldtimer

First-rate photographs. This place is without a doubt one of my favorite cities in the world. I used to be a telling a pal that I suppose they must have had the blue hour in thoughts after they have been constructing the city, there are just so many amazing locations to get incredible snapshots inside the evening.

I used to be there 10 nights in December and it simply wasn't sufficient time to look the entirety and get all the pics I desired. I think I want to move returned and spend as a minimum a month there some time.

Well i must say its an interesting story

You have some great mirrored buildings downtown and they look awesome with the way you captured the skies in the reflections.
