Today's post will not be as spectacular as the previous ones. I would like to show you that old part of Dubai could be interesting too.
The museum is located in Al Fahidi Fort - the oldest existing building which was built in 1787.
Before you enter the museum you can take a shot of this beauty.
Inside are several galleries which present the history of Dubai before oil and tourism developed.
You can find really old maps of that region,
old weapons
and old decor.
Do not be alarmed! Those are not real people. They are mannequins that represent craftsmen during specific tasks.
That is how the food is delivered. Those motorbikes are everywhere.
All commercial vehicles must have this notice on the back. I could not find out whos the phone number is. I wonder who you can reach, the boss or some traffic agency.

Definitely cool to go and check out some history of Dubai as well, it is a side you dont think about so much considering there are skyscrapers and modern buildings everywhere! The hand guns looks pretty badass!

The fort looks awesome. Not much happening in Dubai before the need for oil arose and the oil was discovered! Those scooters look a little top heavy with the food box hopefully they don't fill them up.

I was lucky enough to visit this museum @oldtimer, it really gives you a different perspective of Dubai and how it was before. The mannequins are really impressive!
