The "contrast" between the full blown flowers and quite a lot of snow in the background of the first photo is really nice. Can't wait to see/read more from Lake Louise

Photos were taken in August but Lake Louise is at 1600m and mountains in the back are covered with snow for the whole year. Did you know that Calgary sits at 1000m above sea level?

No didn't now that about Calgary. I've checked some of the pictures from Calgary and even looking at the pictures i wouldn't say it's at 1000m above sea because it looks quite flat actually. BTW: Calgary looks amazing as well. I am a big nature fan and all those lakes, trees, green parks. The similarities with our country is amazing. I'm glad i found you! Can't wait for more shots from Canada :)
