Pyramids On The Prairies

in photography •  6 years ago  (edited)

I made a ride the other day with my bike and visited the Muttart Conservatory.

This innovative botanical garden sets the pace for plant science in western Canada and defines Edmonton’s skyline with striking glass pyramids rising from the river valley.

I borrowed this description from Edmonton official website. It's easier than me struggling with grammar.

It was quite a long ride; almost 10 km but it was worth it. In the late afternoon, I didn't have enough time to explore them from the inside but even from outside, I got some good shots.

The Pyramids are enclosed and controlled environment and I'll have more than enough time to visit them when the weather gets bad.

Here are the photos of pyramids and the surrounding.

The beauty of snapping for the album makes me buy my new digital camera and i am learning to take some shots...though not professionak...but would love to see your inputs👍

That botanical garden looks beautiful, it would be nice to visit with some more time and know all its surroundings besides taking more pictures, however these are great! I loved the pineapple I think is my favorite

The plants and rocks are awesome. I remember you mentioning the pyramids in an earlier post and now the mystery is solved!

excellent photography!

Some georgous shots as always. The pyramids are really intriguing. I should get out and do some cycling around town here and downtown Ottawa as well. So much available to capture on camera.

These are some great shots. Today we can get shots that were not available to regular folks back in the day. Great Job @oldtimer. I enjoyed these shots.
