The Desert

in photography •  6 years ago

The last couple of weeks we can see a lot of posts about the spring. Green leaves and blooming trees and flowers all over the place. I also made a few on spring topic.

Now the main excitement is over and it's time to step back on the ground and proceed with everyday routine. I bought a new hose today for watering my lawn. I only hope that the guy who rented this place before us didn't spread a lot of fertilizer. On the countryside, I use to mow once a week. We'll see how It'll go here in the city.

My neighbor woke me up early this morning with her mower. Let the games begin.

To calm down the spring euphoria I choose a couple of less green shots. I like them very much and I hope you'll like them too.

Once in the lifetime

I took the last photo from the back seat of the car while driving 140 km/h through the desert in Dubai.
On the highway, of course.

Hope you liked my today's desert adventure.

Have a great day and see you tomorrow.

Lovely photographs @oldtimer. Were they all taken in Dubai? 😊

All of them, yes.

Congrats on your new hose
I thought you left Dubai for Canada some months back. Perhaps you visited Dubai again
These are great photos. Must be a superb camera

This post contains real gems and some really creating great impact, for example the combination of that road and desert, means that picture literally saying that nature can take over anytime because the nature is real owner and we are just visitors and our creations will perish one day. And the second picture which have strong effect is the last picture and that tree is literally reflecting as the tree of colours, because that reflecting as the colourful essence which we can see is spread through the tree. Thanks for sharing this post with us and wishing you an great day. Stay blessed. 🙂

All the photos are nice, but the last one really leaves you speechless!

Great desert images. I love the first man versus nature and the last shot where you hit the bullseye while speeding down the highway... ha ha! Your new garden hose would have little use in this environment except maybe to tie up some camel feet!

Good one.

Great photos! In the last one I'm assuming it's a sunset, what is that dark spot to the right of the tree? A reflection perhaps

Dirty window, hehe.

😂😂😂 prva slika me spominja na eno reklamo, ki so jo vrteli v SLO. Pošljem slikico, mogoče pride na misel ista asociacija

Very nice and amazing...😊

I always tell people that the rule of thirds doesnt always have to be applied to every photograph in order for it to be appealing. These pictures only prove my point. Nice shots

I'm an amateur, my friend. Thanks for the kind comment.

Deserts are quite remarkable and each has its own soul. The first and last captures! Hopefully @oldtimer weren’t driving while taking the last one 😉

I said in the post that I took it from the back seat and yes I wasn't driving, hehe.
