This is my contribution to today’s #architecturalphotography contest: a previously unpubilshed photo of Helsinki Cathedral that I took last Saturday during my visit to Finland’s capital. The Cathedral belongs to the Evangelical Lutheran Church of Finland and was originally built from 1830–1852 (information from Wikipedia).

The photo in this post was taken with my smartphone camera, Nexus 5

    Looks really nice @oleg326756. I really like art among all the things to do I like painting and building stuff. Today I posted my church. It's interesting that you also posted a church. I especially like the sky in your picture. Sometimes I take pictures of buildings too. I like architecture.

      Indeed. It’s an old phone, but sometimes it captures very good photos.

            Yes, I was very fortunate with the weather that morning. It was cold, clear and sunny, so the sky was this special shade of crispy blue.
