I was doing dishes when one Glass came apart in my hands as I was cleaning it. I had to tell her that another one of her Wine Glasses had broken. She responded by telling me that it sat that way on her night stand for 2 days, but that I must have broken it by cleaning it with something sharp.......

It could also have been a sharp piece of grit in a sponge at an earlier date, but why put something like this amongst the dirty dishes? Why not toss it while it's still together?
