Nuked!

Getting fried by our interaction with others. I remember my Radar having a lock out for when someone had to work close to the equipment mounted on the roof of my boat. With modern communication equipment there seems to be no such concern and the equipment is mounted on residential buildings. Is it harmful? I simply don't know.

Reasonable concern! Start a petition?

In the U.S. they are rolling out the new generation of Cell Phones that are rumored to be even more powerful. As far as microwave devices goes, I only have experience with Radar and Microwave Ovens (radar range) and while these things can fry me to a crisp on short order, I have no idea what long term low power exposure will do, but I'd rather not find out the hard way. Petitions will have little effect as folks out in the country are already complaining they get poor reception and demand better coverage (mo' powah).

We are slowly frying the planet, I think scientists agree on that, with extra-terrestrial imaging showing up disconcerting spaghetti junctions of radio-magnetic waves all caused by cell phones, and leaving few spots cool and breezy. No point stepping into a canoe and leaving for a desert island. Even Antarctica is "covered". Funny how some of out in the country aren't. Can't imagine sitting in the middle of my field without my phone keeping me company.

Oh, they get coverage in that field alright, but they want it indoors in front of their TVs, and are irritated when they have to step out in the cold to answer their "Dumbphones".

Ah yes the old EMF question

Yes, for some a political question, but for me more of a practical one; either it's harmful or it isn't. Too bad a simple yes or no answer is officially shrouded in mystery.
