A brilliantly plumed conchero dancer in San Miguel de Allende, Gto, Mexico last week at the annual Festival of Our Lord of the Conquest. The indigenous people of Central Mexico gather every year on the first Friday of March, dancing to rhythmic drumming in celebration of their acceptance of Christ. How lucky we were to witness this colorful and joyful event!

So alive, so vibrant, like a lot of the expressions and traditions of mexican autoctonal tribes. Amazed with colors!
