Single Point / One Point Perspective - A photo project inspired by Stanley Kubrick (with youtube clip of Stan's best shots)

One Point Perspective

I've always really liked views with a single diminishing point of perspective. It draws your eyes in to the end of a view and while it may seem slightly obvious at the time, it's always a good memory to recover. I look out for them on my travels here and there.

Stanley Kubrick

It's something Stanley Kubrick took full advantage of with his masterful filmmaking, among many other devices like continual movement of the camera, (creep) and long silences. At the bottom of this post is a clip reel of Stan's best one point perspective shots put together for maximum effect. He was a beast.

Here's a couple of my own single point perspectives photos. I have lots more and will share when I can arrange them all in sequence
