Did I mention that green is my favorite color?
I have had an unbelievably difficult and stressful day. I had to do a lot of running around and then we almost moved the mobile home to our property... almost. The tongue snapped off of the trailer and had to be re-welded, and then the turn was too tight. I'll probably have to take down some fencing in the morning to finish getting it in.
Anyway, in the mist of all that, this little guy hopped out in front of me. I was waiting for the next move on the attempted mobile home relocation, so I grabbed the camera and had a peaceful little moment photographing this guy. Enjoy the pics; I enjoyed taking them!

Lovely little guy. We had a stressful day too...the farmer about took his finger off with barbed wire, and some cows had pinkeye and we had to Dr them...they weren't happy...but we are so very blessed and I know you feel the same way about your life and family. :)

We used to have a lot of those here when I was younger. Now that I think about it, I haven't seen one in years. Kinda scary, if you think about it.

I don't know if you have this species in the USA, it is called great green bush-cricket, fairly big at about 42mm (1.7").
